The Paris Climate Change Agreement

The principal objective of the Paris Agreement is to hold “the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels….”.

The Agreement has wide ranging implications for businesses worldwide, the full range of which will become clearer as efforts are made towards implementing the Agreement.
